The TransportableICSTM is extremly easy to use, requiring minimal or no training. It is ideal to use in situations where installation is not practical, as in light vehicles or SUVs. It is housed in a Pelican/Zero watertight case.

The TransportableICSTM is quick to deploy with no installation required. Users can talk to each other and share the use of vehicle radios. The TransportableICSTM consists of a WearableCrewStationTM for each user, one system Radio Hub, and interconnecting cables.

The cables remain flexible at all temperatures and have easy clean ODU bail-out connectors for quick dismount. Shared vehicle radios are connected to the Radio Hub.

The WearableCrewStationTM is the user’s interface to the system. The WearableCrewStationTM is intuitive and easy to use. Voice prompts, when enabled, assist in night time use. An optional personal radio port integrates the user’s portable PRC with the system. A Radio Hub speaker monitor interfaces to an 8 Ohm or LS-454/U speaker.

An optional NiMH battery pack provides 8 hours of operation.
